We are excited to welcome Professor Sir Robert Lechler to Monash for a keynote lecture on translating pioneering medical research into commercial innovation, patient and societal impact.

Join us for an insightful discussion 'How institutions build systems that consistently translate research into patient and societal impact' drawing on Sir Robert’s internationally recognised research in transplantation immunology and immune tolerance, as well as his experience in advancing discoveries towards clinical application.

This is a unique opportunity to hear first-hand how academic research, healthcare leadership, and biotechnology can come together to create new therapies, including through Sir Robert's work with Quell Therapeutics on engineered regulatory T-cell treatments for transplantation and immune-mediated diseases.

The lecture will be followed by a Q&A, giving you an opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with Sir Robert.
