Khu Khu Vegan Thai Cooking Class – Cooking for Flavour, Health, and Planet
Embark on a culinary adventure with our hands-on vegan Thai cooking class, perfect for those who love vibrant, bold flavours and care about their health and the environment.
In collaboration with Ben Eitelberg, founder of Athletes for Nature, this class will teach you how to prepare four iconic plant-based Thai dishes:
Tom Yum Soup: This hot and sour soup features lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and galangal, combined with fresh vegetables and oyster mushrooms, for a burst of flavour.
Green Papaya Salad (Som Tum): This refreshing salad combines crunchy green papaya, cherry tomatoes, and an authentic dressing, creating a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and sour.
Fresh Spring Rolls: Learn to roll these delightful bite-sized rolls filled with crisp vegetables and fresh herbs, served with a crunchy peanut dipping sauce.
Basil Stir Fry: Master the art of stir-frying with this savoury dish featuring tofu, fresh basil leaves, and a seasonal mix of vegetables, all cooked in a flavorful plant-based sauce.
Beyond cooking, this class offers valuable insights into plant-based nutrition. Ben Eitelberg will share how incorporating these dishes into your diet can positively impact the health of your well-being and that of the planet, plus how a well-balanced diet is the biggest investment you can make for your athletic performance.
