Discover the realm of creativity in our Kids Art Term programs, where children can nurture their artistic talents guided by our experienced tutors. Our core objective centers on cultivating a passion for art while also developing their artistic skills.
Throughout the term, our tutors will introduce a variety of mediums and techniques to empower children to craft their unique artworks. The class commences with an explanation and activity demonstration. Subsequently, our skilled instructors encourage students to channel their imagination, interpret instructions, and trust their artistic instincts. For our younger participants, the emphasis lies in playful exploration and experimentation. While a creative model may be provided, our primary focus is on bolstering their art-related confidence through practical learning, enabling them to enjoy the process and experiment with a diverse range of mediums, including watercolour, clay, crayons, and acrylic paint – with the selection of mediums evolving each term.
All required art materials, mediums, surfaces, tools, and brushes are thoughtfully provided by us. The program spans 8 weeks of guided sessions, ensuring comprehensive skill development.
For participation, it's advised that your child wears an art smock for clothing protection.
Parents of young artists are required to be present in the store. Parent tables are available to sit at during classes.
To maintain an intimate learning environment, each class accommodates up to 12 students. Secure your spot by reserving early, well before the starting date.
Access to our venue is conveniently through the carpark located at the rear of 5 Mackinnon Street, Rockingham.
