Aboriginal Art Workshop with Dustin-Koa Art

Join Caitlyn from Dustin-Koa Art (Barkindji woman) for an educational/creative Aboriginal art workshop!

This workshop will explore the meanings and importance of our symbols and how we use them to tell stories within our artwork.

The workshop is open and welcome to people of all cultural backgrounds, however explanations will be given to the children/families about the inappropriate ongoing use of our symbols within artwork if you are not Aboriginal. Caitlyn will work with the children to develop their own ability/creativity to tell stories through their artwork.

Paper, textas, crayons and paint pens will be provided throughout the workshop to help the children create their pictures. Caitlyn would also like to acknowledge the Kaurna people as the custodians of the land on which this workshop will be taking place.

Bookings are essential. These classes are recommended for children aged 5-10 years old.
