Kids Art Club - Age 5-7
Event description
Our Kids Art Club aims to foster a love for creativity within a supportive and friendly environment! Facilitated by local artist Ella Dunn, children will create artworks in response to their world and respond to a diverse range of both contemporary and past well-known artists.
Each week we will develop and build on foundational skills, look at a range of diverse artist’s works, problem solve, explore and experiment with a range of materials and techniques, learn different ways to express ourselves and make meaning through different mediums. This class celebrates the wacky and wonderful, and is the perfect introduction to a world of art and creativity!
Ella Dunn is a Melbourne based artist who focuses on figurative, narrative-based works paintings. In 2017 Ella graduated from a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an honours year (Visual Arts), and is a practicing artist, exhibiting works frequently. For the last five years she has been working in a primary school as a teachers aide, working with children with diverse needs and abilities, and at the end of 2022 Ella completed a grad dip in Early Childhood Teaching at Melbourne Uni.
NB: There will not be a class on 13 March due to the public holiday. You must purchase 1 ticket & 1 material pack per child.
