Kids Art in the Park: School Holidays, Technicolour Tulips

Join us for a beautiful day out at Araluen Botanic Park in the Perth Hills. Parents can enjoy some quiet time wandering around the park while your kids come and paint these colourful Tulips with us, or with our family pass, you can come and paint with your little artist too! See all that Araluen has to offer in Spring and soak up some rays whilst painting down by the old Swimming Pool.

For this event we will be painting our original painting, Technicolour Tulips.

We recommend that children only attend if they are 7 years and above, as we have found this age range is able to get the best experience and understanding from the class.

What you need to know:

Where: Araluen Botanical Park, Roleystone.

When: Saturday 23rd of September, 2023.

Time: Arrive 1:45pm for a 2:00pm start, sharp. Please allow plenty of time for parking!

Duration: Class will run for approximately 2 hours.

What to wear: Araluen can be slightly cool in the mornings and warmer in the afternoons. A sun hat and cardigan is a good idea.

Tickets include all required painting materials. Just show up ready to have a good time and wear something you don't mind getting paint on.. just in case!

Our classes are designed to be fun, social and achievable for beginners. Our artist will walk you through the process step-by-step whilst offering suggestions on how to individualise your artwork. Anyone and everyone is welcome, no prior painting experience required.

About the Venue

We paint down by the old swimming pool in the amphitheatre at Araluen. You can see it straight away when you walk in from the main car park at the bottom of the hill. Staff can provide you with a map if you ask for one. Please say your name at the gate and they will know you are admitted free entry. If rain is forecast we will be moved to the Forrest View Deck which you can see at the top right-hand area on this map. Equally as beautiful and close to a car park for easy access to the area. We will notify you ahead of time if the location changes at all.

Please note there is no reception up in the park, so we won't be able to receive calls.
