Hey kids, here’s a fantastic opportunity to dive into a colorful culinary adventure at Eat the Rainbow! Become kitchen ninjas at this hands-on workshop designed to demystify the cooking process.
You’ll be creating healthy, delectable dishes using fresh regional produce from the Tweed, with a Japanese twist in preparations. Learn skills for life with chef Samantha Gowing, a Le Cordon Bleu Master who’s been teaching healthy cooking globally for 25 years.
The menu will be gluten-free and incorporate local fish, seaweed, and Japanese-style ferments.
Here’s what you’ll be cooking:
- Pan fried local fish with miso butter sauce
- Sweet potato jackets with guacamole
- Watermelon pizza with local honey, nuts, seeds and flowers
