FAQ-Ā

WHO ARE WE?

We are an independent food pantry offering operating in a Client Choice, Market Style setup. We offer food for special diets, including gluten-free, dairy-free, and plant-based diets. Not only are you helping your family thrive, but our neighbors receive so much of the surplus, it cuts down on so much food waste. Thatā€™s truly guilt-free living.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

Sign up via Humanitix. Everyone can Swap or donate!

Drop off during designated times.

Don't have a costume to trade? Leave a donation for the food pantry instead.

WHAT CAN I SWAP?

Any children's costumes & accessories that are clean and gently used or new.

Children's costume sizes:

Infant/ Baby Sizes

Toddler Sized 2T to 5T, Small, Medium, or Large Child Sizes

X Small/ Small Adult sizes

Wigs ā€“ gloves, boots/shoes, glow sticks, and more!

**UNLESS NEW WITH TAGS, we cannot accept nylons, fishnet stockings, costume undergarments, or socks. **

All costumes must be clean and free of any smoke or animal odors: Wash, sort, and label by size. Check items for holes, rips, stains, broken zippers, missing buttons, and be sure to *empty pockets.* For the easiest display, have costumes on hangers and place all loose accessories in a zip bag.

WILL THERE BE A PLACE TO TRY THINGS ON? No, we wonā€™t have space for fitting rooms.

WHAT ITEMS ARE ACCEPTED? ONLY CHILDRENā€™s Costumes and accessories!

WHAT IS NOT ACCEPTED? Nothing with holes, rips, stains, fabric pilling, or bad smells.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE LEFTOVER COSTUMES AFTER THE SWAP? We partner with other agencies to distribute leftover costumes to other families in their neighborhoods.

CAN I JUST SHOW UP AND SWAP? No, we ask for registration so that we can maintain proper social distancing and plan accordingly.

CAN I JUST DONATE COSTUMES?Ā Absolutely! We would be happy to take your donations and add them to the swap.

WHERE DO WE DROP OUR ITEMS OFF? The drop-off location is at our office. We also have various volunteers who have signed up to host a drop spot in their neighborhood. Want to be a drop spot? Message us!

CAN I VOLUNTEER TO HELP OUT? Yes, weā€™d love your help! The bonus to volunteering is you earn early-bird shopping!

Host a Clothing Drop Spot ā€“ Check, organize, and pre-sort items dropped off at your home.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER?
