Holiday Program 11/14 years old- Day 1- Tart Extravaganza

Welcome to Ma Petite Patisserie, Fine Plant-Based Cooking School in Manuka.

For the April Holidays, Ma Petite Patisserie is partnering with visual arts teacher, Liesl Brenzel, to offer your young chef a day full of creativity, skills and learning.

Program for children aged 11 to 14 years old. This is Day 1 of a two-day program for this age range. Day 2 is on Thursday 18/04/2024

Morning program (8.30-12pm): Developing their patisserie skills

Young patissiers will learn to create perfect pastry crusts and prepare two individual chocolate and caramel tarts and two individual fruit and vanilla custard tarts with Head Chef Faustyne L'Hostis.

Lunch break (12pm-1pm)

We will get some fresh air walking to a nearby playground and get our lunch together.

Please note that lunch is not provided.

Afternoon program (1pm- 4.30pm): Unveiling the artist in them

Your little one will be creating a 2D artwork using acrylic paint, collage and colouring in. The artwork will relate to the delicious desserts they create in the morning and will incorporate a range of different techniques. 

3pm: Afternoon tea provided (fruit and baked good)

The final result will be taken home by the artist at the end of the afternoon as well as the delicious baked goods from the morning session.
