Bring your kids to the Test Garden for an indigo dye workshop with Heather Thomas!

In this fun, drop-in session, you’ll create your very own beautifully patterned indigo textile to take home.

Kids (and their grown-ups!) will join natural dye specialist Heather Thomas from the Australian Tapestry Workshop to discover the magic of resist-dyeing. Fold, tie and scrunch your fabric, then dunk it into the indigo vat and watch as your stunning patterns appear like magic.

Everything’s provided – just bring your imagination and be ready to get a little messy!

✨ For children aged 3+ and their guardians
