    Event description

    This hands on insect and native bee hotel workshop is aimed at 8 to 12 year olds. Each participant will make a 'hotel' out of upcycled materials that they can take home for their garden, along with advice on how to attract pollinators and other beneficial insects to the garden. All materials supplied. 

    Children must be accompanied by an adult - accompanying adult tickets are free.

    About the Facillitator
    This workshop will be facillitated by Yann Toussaint from the Rainbow Coast Community Garden. Yann is a gardener, poet and sustainability educator who lives in Albany, Western Australia. Yann runs the popular "Garden Grubs" children's gardening club through the Rainbow Coast Neighbourhood Centre's Community Garden, delivers a wide range of sustainability workshops and teaches at the University of Western Australia's Albany Campus.
