Event description

The SACWA State Handicraft Committee is running a Kids Learn to Knit workshop in the SA October School Holidays. You will learn the knit and purl stitches, to cast on and off. You will start with a practice swatch, then make a bookmark. Other patterns will be included in your kit: fingerless gloves and 2 dishcloth/facecloth patterns.

  • Ages: 9 years to 16 years

  • Thursday 9th October 2025

  • 9:30am till 3:30pm

  • Morning and Afternoon Tea supplied

  • BYO lunch

  • Kit $5, includes: knitting needles, yarn, tapestry needle, patterns

  • Maximum 25 students
