Kids' Mini Terrarium Workshops | Spring 2025

Get ready to dig in - literally! Our Mini Terrarium Workshop at The Factory is the perfect way for little green thumbs to get hands-on with nature. Kids will build their very own mini world, layering coloured sand, soil, and a succulent plant to create a living masterpiece they can take home and watch grow.

This experience is recommended for children aged 5-10 years, with one adult welcome to join and assist each child during the session.

What to Expect?

• A mix of vibrant succulent plants, soil and sand, everything kids need to create their own mini garden.

• Fun tools and decorations to personalise each mini terrarium and make it uniquely theirs.

• Each child takes home their own mini terrarium (measuring approx. 10-15cm high) to nurture and watch grow.

• A relaxed outdoor setting at The Factory in South Eveleigh.

Please note that bookings are essential and places will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis, so please act quickly to make sure you don't miss out.

Important Information

• Please only buy the tickets you need so more children can join the fun!

• This experience is suitable for kids aged 5-10 years. We know every child is different, so use your best judgement to decide if this activity is right for your little one.

• Tickets are only required for children; supervising adults accompanying their child do not need a ticket.

• The case, plant and coloured sand selection may differ from what's pictured, but there will be plenty of fun options to choose from!

• Can't make it? Refunds are available up to 72 hours before the event.

• Refunds cover the face value of the ticket but not booking fees, as these are charged by Humanitix. For details, check out their website.

• Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your sessions, and check in with our staff in The Factory.

• Parking and transport in the area can be challenging, so please allow plenty of travel time.

• This event is happening outdoors, undercover, so rain or shine, it's happening!

• Food and drinks are available from The Grounds Coffee Factory. If you'd like to skip the wait, we recommend making a reservation online ahead of time.
