Kids Pottery Classes

Event description

This will be a fun, stress-free environment.

Each week we will have a guided new project for the kids to embark on, allowing them to develop their pottery skills.

There will also be time during the course for self-expression. Let’s face it, sometimes kids just need to let their own creativity out and not be caged within the boundaries of what we want them to do. And you will probably be amazed with what they create when allowed the space to do that! (If your little one doesn’t want free time, they can work on a guided project with me during that time.)

Why pottery?

• Firstly it’s fun!
• Getting hands in nature via clay is very grounding and calming. It’s a great way for kids to de-stress and be more mindful;
• It improves motor skills;
• It helps us to practice patience.
• It helps with problem solving – sometimes things don’t go to plan when working with clay but there’s usually a solution.
• It helps develop resilience - pottery is great at giving us unexpected results.

This is a 5 week program starting Thursday 16th February 2023 and finishing Thursday 16th March 2023
