Kids’ Procreate Intermediate Course

Do you want to learn how to create digital art? Or stretch your existing skills with challenges and exercises?

Young artists (and Hub Cadets] Rosie and Georgie are passionate self-taught users of Procreate, with previous experience of tutoring others. Rosie has been using Procreate to create digital art for the past 4 years, and in this time she's created content for Instagram, websites and school projects, and she'd love to get other kids involved too! This 2-session course is aimed at students in grades 8-12 (or younger if they completed a previous Procreate Basics course with Rosie or are confident with their basic Procreate skills]. The focus of this Intermediate course will be on taking kids' basic digital art skills in Procreate to the next level - to creating full blown art works and animations using the many intricate features of this powerful app.

MUST BRING: iPad with Procreate app installed (running iPad iOS 13.2 or later), plus a compatible Apple pencil or tablet stylus (note: Procreate app is currently not available for Android devices). A tablet stylus can be purchased from Officeworks, Big W and other retailers - just check the stylus is compatible with your generation of iPad.

The 2 session course will run from 9am to Noon on the 16th of January and the the 17th of January 2023 at the Peregian Digital Hub.
