School Holiday Workshop – Secret Money Box

Is that just a book on the shelf? No! It’s a secret money box! Children will build a small wooden box and camouflage it to look like a book so they can safely conceal their savings or other treasures. Children can bring along their favourite book to inspire them or design their own book cover or covers…There may be decoys involved…. ;)

This workshop involves the use of hot glue so please keep this in mind when booking your artist.

 All materials supplied in class

Students will need to bring snacks and water for breaks.

Students doing both workshops on the same day can stay until the end of the second workshop, which finishes at 3pm, provided they have their own lunch and drink bottle.

This workshop is subsidized thanks to funding from the Creative Communities Scheme, so you only pay $15 per person (with a booking fee of .75c).

Running Wednesday 9th October 12:30-3pm, this workshop will take place in the space behind the Ōtorohanga iSite (21 Maniapoto Street) Entrance to the workshop will be off Wahanui Crescent.
