Kids School Holidays Sustainability Workshop - Insect Hotels
Event description
Insect hotels are useful for creating habitat for a diverse variety of insects including solitary native bees. Learn about the importance of our little native bees, go on a pollinator hunt and make an upcycled bee/ insect hotel to take home.
PLEASE BRING A CLEAR 1 or 2 litre EMPTY (CLEAN) PLASTIC MILK BOTTLE with lid. Milk bottles with square sides work best. School age children welcome (must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during the workshop).
We will be outside in an undercover area of my garden, so dress appropriately for the weather. There is a toilet onsite.
As places are limited, bookings are essential. Please register through ASAP through the Humanitix link. Please be mindful of everyone’s health and safety and do not attend on the day if you or your child are unwell.
