Kids Spring Mushroom Growing Workshop
Event description
Join local fungi enthusiast Marita Smith to explore the fascinating world of fungi and learn how to create your own mushroom grow bucket using low-tech sustainable methods. Each participant will receive a mushroom grow bucket and a copy of their choice of our L’il Shroomers Activity zine (full of fun fungi facts and fungi-themed activities) or our Low Tech Shrooming zine.
Bring a 1 or 2-litre recycled plastic container (e.g., yogurt, hommus, or feta bucket).
Important participant requirements:
- This event is for people aged 5 years and older. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a supervising adult/guardian.
- The supervising adult/guardian can supervise up to 3 children.
- The supervising adult/guardian does not need to purchase a ticket.
