KID’S STORY DAY ALL EVENTS
Story Week: Be Heard – Be Seen

Kids are great storytellers with powerful imaginations. Word Travels opens a box of inspiring activities for kids including workshops on how to illustrate your words, tell awesome tales and slam your own poetry. Cheer on performances, settle in to hear readings by fantastic writers or take the mic yourself in a Kid Slam.

Kid’s Story Day is crafted for 7 to 12-year-olds. Stay for the day or drop-in to individual sessions.

COST: $50 for the day or $15 for each session (parent/guardian attends free).
Kid's Story Day is a Service NSW Creative Kids approved activity. Email us at Word Travels if you would like to book Kid's Story Day day passes using your Creative Kids vouchers.

KID SLAM
12.00pm-1.00pm

So you have a little bag of words from your workshop, or maybe some pages you dug from under your dirty socks at home or even a poem scrawled on the pizza box last night. Gather them, it’s time to bring out your dreams. Take the stage and star in your own poetry slam made just for kids. Speak for two minutes and hear the crowd go wild.
