Kids Sustainable Sewing Term-2 2025 | Fridays 3:30-5pm
Event description
Term 2 Kids Sewing Class | suitable for Intermediate and High School aged children
Friday's | 3:30pm-5pm
9-week course | Starts Friday May 2nd
Would you like your child to learn to use a sewing machine, or continue on their sewing journey?
This class is suitable for primary school aged children aged 8+
Kids sustainable sewing is a small group class that will cater for all levels of sewing and adjust to the interest of the group.
In past classes we have made totes bags, zip pouches, reusable party crowns, easter egg bunny bags and multi-use aprons.
The ethos behind the sewing is sustainability and all fabric has been sourced second hand. I also like to focus on items that can be used again and again, like the party crowns. Children are often generous and often make items for family members!
Learning to sew is a useful skill and will make mending clothes easy in the future.
This ticket is for the 9-week course | sewing machines & materials are included - but you are welcome to bring your own sewing machine.
