I LOVE having the kids at my table and I don't hold back with the many and varied techniques and creative ideas we use to promote freedom of imagination.

I believe humans have better focus and clarity of thinking when they feel free and relaxed and this is the attitude I promote and develop within my 8 week course.

Age: 7-13yrs

The 8 Workshops: Designed for creative expression using mixed media, pencil, charcoal , pastels, acrylic and/or watercolour, air drying clay and various other medium. The intention is to Develop skills, have fun and gain exposure to contemporary art making. We will explore many creative concepts, going home proudly each week with new ideas, happy hearts and wonderful artworks.

Materials: All materials provided. I use a range of quality materials, making sure young people get to try professional style materials as well as many other options to broaden their experience.

IMPORTANT NOTE : There is a little note of awareness I need to make regarding children's classes. I adore kids and children's art is unsurpassable in my opinion. There is a huge reward in sitting with children devoted to their art creation. occasionally however, as creative and wonderful as our children are they can be unsuited for the workshop environment. Please be sure that your child WANTS to sit with me for an hour and explore. If your child does provide too much distraction for other members of the class I'll let you know. If they continue to distract I will have to ask that they no longer attend. Unfortunately if I have to do this there will be no refunds.Thanks for your understanding.

Using visual arts as a method of expression, personal growth and communication, she is an arts educator and founder of programs like I AM, Kids In Touch Arts and The Emotional Intelligence Initiative. Arna’s career spans more than thirty years and is an expert at helping you release your inner creative and make your creative marks without fear.
She creates in her studio at M|Arts Precinct where she also displays and sells her work.
