We’re excited to invite children to our next hands-on woodworking workshop in partnership with our local Men’s Shed. ❤️

This is a unique opportunity for children to step inside their local community shed, explore the space, discover the joy of making something with their own hands, and take home something they’ve created themselves!

👀 What will children experience?

🏠 Tour the Shed
Children will have a guided tour of the Men’s Shed and learn about the different activities, skills and community work that take place there.

🔨 Hands-on woodworking
Children will take part in an age-appropriate woodworking activity, using tools under the guidance of experienced members.

🧠 Learn practical skills
Children will practise measuring, following instructions, problem-solving, using tools safely and working carefully.

🙌 Build confidence
There’s something special about being able to say, “I made this myself!”

❤️ Connect with our local community
Children will have the opportunity to meet and learn from experienced members of our local community.

At Little Life Skills Club, we believe children learn so much when they are given opportunities to work with their hands, learn from others and be part of their local community.
