KIDS WORKSHOP: Weaving the Landscape - HDO '25

Connect with the natural beauty of Lanyon Homestead as your kids unleash their creativity in this hands-on weaving workshop designed for kids aged 8–12. Younger children are welcome with the support of an adult.

What to expect: 

• Nature walk: Explore the Lanyon site on a guided walk to collect natural materials for your art project.
• Weaving with a handmade loom: Create your very own weaving using materials discovered during the walk.
• Artist book creation: Respond to the environment with your unique artist book, using observational drawing, collage, and expressive watercolour techniques.

All materials are supplied—just bring your imagination!
