We invite all Kin Kin Youths to sign up FREE here, to be part of the Kin Kin Youth Program for 2024.

You will be the first to be informed of the details of the next pop-up Youth Events! 
This also helps us for any catering and to know how effective the program is for our youths. 

The Kin Kin Youth Program is a community-led and grant funded initiative to support the wellbeing of our local youths aged under 18 living in our rural community. The youth program will feature pop-up youth events and recreational activities, with two planned events each school term and includes special community events. See below the next event dates.

UPCOMING  EVENT/S


The next Kin Kin Youth Event will be at the Kin Kin Community Sports Program with FREE healthy snacks available and join in the AFL games on the Oval on Wednesday 21 February.  Then again on the following week at our Kin Kin Sports program (Wednesday 28th February) a free sausage sizzle to local Youths registered.

If you are yet to register for the Term 1 Sports Program, sign up here.

Please make sure your Child/ren tick their name off at Event to receive their goodies and attendance at the event.


IMPORTANT TO NOTE

If wet weather looks like it will affect the event,  any changes will be emailed prior to event and update on the What's On Facebook page .

 Please note a Parent/Guardian/Caregiver will need to be present at the Youth Events for any attending Youth.

You only need to SIGN UP here once, however some pop up events may require a RSVP to help with catering and age groups.

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM FUNDING 

Major Supporter for this program is Health and Wellbeing Queensland (HWQld) is a prevention agency, and our role is to make healthy happen for Queensland. The GenQ Grants Program is a new funding program that will generate evidence-based and innovative ideas to improve the health and wellbeing of Queensland communities with an emphasis on children and youth.
The aim of the GenQ Community funding scheme is to support local communities, for initiatives that sustain or enhance health and wellbeing using innovative ideas across the focus areas of nutrition, physical activity, sleep, health equity or wellbeing.

Our focus on this year's program is to increase the social connection and recreational opportunities for our youths  - to support the mental, physical and emotional well-being of our local youths and healthy living in our rural region.

Noosa Council also supports our Youth and Community programs as part of our recent Community Grants.

The Kin Kin Community Group is leading this initiative and with great thanks to its local volunteers to support our Youth Events.
