After an incredibly successful inaugural event in 2024, we’re delighted to be back hosting our fundraising gala again for a second year.

The Kindness Matters Gala is an opportunity to celebrate kindness in our community and recognise its power in the face of big social issues that affect our community every day. It’s a chance to acknowledge the work of Morwell Neighbourhood House and the wonderful people who make everything we do possible – all while raising vital funds to support the ongoing success of our not-for-profit community service.

We know that simple acts of kindness can break down barriers and create a more connected and compassionate community. At Morwell Neighbourhood House, we believe kindness is the key to making sure everyone gets the support, resources, and opportunities they need, no matter their background.

Together, we can make a real difference.

We believe that coming together with kindness helps to tackle social inequalities and provide support those people in our community who need it most. Kindness helps us build a society that ensures inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunity for everyone.

This event gives you a chance to see the impact kindness has to inspire positive change in our community and become a part of our work supporting the community.

All proceeds will go towards support our range of community support programs.

⏰ Time: 6:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Doors open at 5:45 PM, proceedings start at 6:30 PM sharp)

👗 Dress Code: Cocktail Attire

We know that ticket prices can be a big barrier to attending events. So we're asking for your help to ensure everyone can have the opportunity to celebrate with us by purchasing a Pay it Forward ticket.

Pay it Forward tickets are a great way for you or your organisation to give back and get the community involved. Every Pay it Forward ticket ensures someone who can’t afford a ticket gets a chance to celebrate too. When you pay it forward, you don't just buy a ticket – you give back to the community.

If you are unable to attend the luncheon because of financial barriers, we're happy to help!

Please email us at manager@morwellnh.org.au with the email subject Pay It Forward Ticket or call us on 03 5134 5488 to be put into the ticket ballot. Please remember to provide your name and contact details in your email.

We will contact you in the event a ticket becomes available. Any Pay it Forward seats will be allocated randomly and at the discretion of the Morwell Neighbourhood House team.
