Kindness Rocks
Description
What if one small painted rock could brighten someone's day?
Join us for a creative, feel-good rock painting session as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, celebrating the Give way to wellbeing. Together we'll create colourful Kindness Rocks to spread a little joy throughout our community.
We'll provide the rocks, paints and all the materials, you just bring your imagination! Join us at the Community Garden to decorate rocks with a colourful design or an uplifting message. Once they've been lacquered, you can give your rock to someone you know who could use a smile, or leave it somewhere around town for a stranger to discover.
Who knows where your act of kindness might end up or whose day it might brighten?
What to expect:
All rock painting materials provided
A relaxed, welcoming and creative atmosphere
Inspiration for kind messages and designs
Come along, get creative, and help spread a little kindness.
The event is FREE, although a koha box will be available to help cover the cost of paints and lacquer. Please wear closed-in shoes, dress for the weather, and note that there are no toilets on site at the Community Garden.
Suitable for adults, teenagers and children aged 8-12 years (with adult supervision).
