MOANA are premiering their most ambitious work yet, an extended visual surreal narrative music-film titled ‘Kingdom | Temple’, describing the story threading through their last two single releases. ‘Kingdom | Temple’ follows a Heroine’s archetypal journey of self-discovery through self-destruction, and is a dark meditation on the death of identity, descending into self-deception and inner illusion, to find absolution and ultimately heal through shedding and rebirth.

Friday, June 18th at Johnny Ma Studios will be an amazing multi-faceted launch party to celebrate the birthing of ‘Kingdom | Temple’, including:

A big screen projection premiering the short film
a Q&A with the filmmakers and designers, hosted by local music hero Bob Gordon
an interactive set and costume exhibition from our films
a photo gallery from the shoot (with select prints raffled off over the evening)
and lastly a very special MOANA set showcasing some of the songs from the upcoming EP with a string ensemble...

Thanks to the generosity of our Pozible supporters, we will also be putting on delicious eats from Eat No Evil and an abundant ambrosial winter bar, featuring mulled wine and tequila hot chocolate, among other tasty drinks.

This premiere will be an intimate gathering for our fans and artist collaborators to revel and celebrate and enjoy the best presentation of the art we have made together with our amazing fan community.
