KINGSTON WEAVING WORKSHOPS
Event description
Kingston Weaving is a First Nations led, weaving project by Boandik artists Sonya, Sarah and Suzy Smith. Focusing on the cultural representation of animal totems in connection to the local environment, a long-term community engaged process will see the creation of a large-scale sculpture of cultural and enduring significance in Kingston, South East, South Australia in 2025.
Come and get involved in the next series of workshops and be part of this extraordinary project as it begins to take shape.
