Kinky Burlesque - Solo/Duo Act Development

Friends, lovers! Join me for another round of Kinky Burlesque! 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!

In this 8 week term, students can leave societal norms at the door as we create a safe, engaging space for all people, genders, experience levels, abilities and backgrounds, to learn and explore the deliciousness that is the seduction of tease mixed with the spiciness of kink! The term will begin with a comprehensive introduction, covering topics from burlesque, kink, consent, RACK (Risk Aware Consensual Kink) and SSC (Safe, Sane and Consensual) practices, followed by 7 weeks of classes - sprinklings of kink education and burlesque technique throughout, and then a full dress rehearsal night in the lead up to the show. 

In this class, it’s ALL ABOUT YOU and YOUR ACT! Whether it’s an act you’re already working on, a half-baked idea or you’re starting from scratch, for anyone from experienced performers to total beginners, these classes are focused on giving you the tools to create and develop your act so you feel comfortable and confident taking centre stage! 

Solo students will have the opportunity to perform on BOTH Friday 8th November AND Saturday 9th November, hosted at Connections Nightclub in Northbridge. 

Solo students will also have the option of performing in the opening act of the show - performing a solo act can be super exciting and take up all your attention so no expectation to join the opening number, unless you want to - in which case, great!

Act: Kinky Solo/Duo Development 

Performance Date: Friday 8th November & Saturday 2nd November 2024  

Difficulty: Open

Theme: Kink/Fetish - to align with Licentious shows, this class is specifically designed to workshop kink themed acts. 

Cost: $200 - *Note: all students receive a 20% discount to purchase Licentious merch (t-shirts, bags, stickers, lanyards)

When: Thursdays, 8:45pm - 9:45pm 

Thursday 05/09: 5:30 - 6:15pm 45 mins KINK IN BURLESQUE 101 *Pre-requisite for anyone new to taking kinky burlesque classes. Optional, though recommended, for previous students. 

Thursday 05/09 8:30 - 9:15pm 45 mins Week 1 Intro night! Dress comfy and bring a notebook because this will have ALL the important details for and an introduction to your kinky burlesque education, as well as some bump and grind.
