Kinusaiga workshop by Whare Hau Ako
Description
Spring into Kinusaiga
Welcome spring with an evening of creativity as you discover the beautiful Japanese art of Kinusaiga. Using colourful fabric scraps, you'll create a stunning spring-inspired floral artwork by carefully pressing fabric into pre-cut groove boards—no sewing, needles or thread required.
This relaxing workshop blends traditional Japanese techniques with a contemporary approach, making it easy for beginners to create a unique piece of textile art to take home. Enjoy a mindful evening of creativity, connection and making as you experience the welcoming, community-centred kaupapa of Whare Hau Ako.
