KIORE is a Brisbane born artist with a heart that reaches the farthest corners of the earth. Inspired by the sounds and stories around and within, every song she writes aims to be an experience that can be shared, treasured and celebrated. Fostering a community spirit is crucial to KIORE’s creative process, as is reflecting the proud roots of her Maori and Cook Islander heritage. Her songwriting prowess has been recognised on a local and international level through performing in various local festivals (Caloundra Music Festival 2021, Brisbane Festival 2023, Kurilpa Derby 2023) and as part of Michelle Obama’s 2021 Signing Day ceremony.

KIORE’s style verges on genres in her self-proclaimed style of “Heart and Soul”, which encompasses a fusion of anything from Soul, RnB, Pop, Jazz and Funk to create a dynamic, interactive soundscape for her audience. KIORE’s essence and direction aims to continue along a journey of discovering and uncovering, listening and speaking stories that are underpinned by various musical scapes and explorations.

Hailing from rural NSW, Tahnee Rose brings her unique blend of sass, soul, and rock 'n' roll to Brisbane. She uses her Country roots, through acoustic storytelling and energetic performances.
