KIORE is a Brisbane-born artist that has a heart that reaches worldwide, recognizes community and celebrates her Maori and Cook Islander roots. KIORE’s songwriting prowess has been recognised on a local and international level through performing in various local festivals (Caloundra Music Festival 2021, Brisbane Festival 2023, Kurilpa Derby 2023 and 2025, Laura St Festival 2024) and as part of Michelle Obama’s 2021 Signing Day ceremony. Her “Heart and Soul” style blends Soul, RnB, Pop, Jazz, and Funk, creating a bold and trailblazing sound that walks the fine lines of heartfelt ballads and stankface-inducing grooves.
