Ecstatic Kirtan with VIJAY KRSNA of "KIRTANIYAS"

We are super excited and honoured to welcome back to the Shire our favourite devotional singer - VIJAY KRSNA of KIRTANIYAS. You may remember Vijay at Om Fest when he had the whole room up chanting and dancing.
On transit to the US, after Bali and South America, VIJAY will grace us with a night of ecstatic Kirtan at Mullum Civic Hall.
WORKSHOP
The following day, Saturday 27th Vijay will offer a Bhakti Harmonium and chant workshop in Middle Pocket.
The workshop is for everyone of all levels and you are invited to bring all your instruments along. If you don't have any that's fine too.
Bhakti yoga could be described as the Yoga of devotion, the way of the heart. In this workshop you will enjoy some Kirtan and learn ways to extend your playing and chanting to contribute to the musical experience. These workshops are very interactive and offer the opportunity to be spontaneous as well as learning how to jump in and add to the ecstatic energy that builds in a Kirtan.
The workshop will end with a jam of all who are in the room .
There will be a 1hr lunch break so bring your lunch. Chai will be available.
