Join Song Keepers for an uplifting evening of kirtan, devotional music, and sacred community with renowned bhakti musicians Govind Das and Jacqueline Michelle.

Rooted in the path of Bhakti Yoga, Govind Das and Jacqueline share mantra and music as a living practice of devotion, prayer, and intimate connection with the Divine. Through soulful melodies, ancient Sanskrit mantras, heartfelt storytelling, and the communal spirit of kirtan, they create spaces that are joyful, meditative, transformative, and deeply human. Their celebrated album Lunar Mantras spent multiple weeks at #2 on the iTunes World Music charts, and their music continues to inspire devotional communities around the world.

Kirtan is an ancient practice of call-and-response chanting, often described as a "jewel of spiritual practice" because of its ability to open the heart and bring people together through shared voice and intention. The literal translation of kirtan is "to praise." Whether this is your first experience or a familiar path, you are warmly welcomed exactly as you are.

This is not simply a concert to observe from a distance, but an invitation into participation and presence. Sing loudly, hum softly, clap your hands, meditate, dance, or simply rest in the vibration of the music. Together, we create a space where song becomes a bridge: between self and community, longing and belonging, silence and celebration.

Song Keepers is a nonprofit community organization rooted in the power of sacred song to heal, connect, and serve at life's thresholds. We cultivate communal spaces centered on devotional music in response to a growing longing for meaningful, heart-centered experiences.

Beyond public gatherings, Song Keepers offers healing music and compassionate presence in life's most tender transitions, particularly for those approaching death and the loved ones who walk beside them. We also bring this work to those often overlooked or underserved, including people in prisons and medical facilities.

We believe these moments carry profound healing potential—not only for those receiving care, but also for those who serve. This work is reciprocal, relational, and deeply human.
