Kiryuho Workshop - Winter Solstice

As we move into the colder months of the year and draw closer to the shortest day, we invite you to join us at Mirramu Creative Arts Centre to celebrate the winter solstice. 

This year we will celebrate over the whole weekend with a movement meditation workshop in the afternoon on Saturday followed by a ceremonial bringing of the light through simple dance and song. At the completion of the evening you are welcome to join everyone around the wood stove for a meal and some gluhwein. Then on Sunday 22nd June there will be a contact improvisation workshop called teh Underscore, facilitated by Debora DiCenta. 

Make a winter solstice weekend - Stay overnight on Saturday to enjoy a calm winter morning in contemplation and relaxation at Mirramu and then join Debora Di Centa on Sunday afternoon for the Underscore. Movement Meditation Workshop - based on the Mobius Kiryho method. 

Time: 2-4:30pmCost $35. Please come dressed in comfortable and warm clothing that you can move easily in. 

Winter Solstice Celebration & Shared Meal

Time: 5-8pm Cost: FreeWhere: Mirramu Studio and main house for dinner. Please bring a plate of food to share. (Children are welcome to join the solstice celebration and shared meal)
