The womb is both a physical and an energetic place of creation and therefore present in both men and women, in all genders. For many years the feminine has been looked down on, lessened, even demonized. The “softer” energies of motherhood, of creation, have been shackled, shut away, pushed down and controlled. Men who have sought to embrace their “softer” creative, nurturing sides have been ridiculed and put down by society. But the womb is the power of creation. It is a place to nourish, grow, create and heal. It is the very power of life itself as all life comes from the womb.

The passing of this rite is an initiation into reclaiming the power of life and creativity. To throw off societies misconceptions and limitations and prepare ourselves emotionally and energetically to move into a more balanced future for ourselves, our children and for humanity.
