Kitchen Atlas: A Feast For Caitlin
Event description
Kitchen Atlas is a five-course journey through the beloved dishes of Plate It Forward’s multicultural kitchens — from the heart of Kyiv to the streets of Colombo. This special fundraiser lunch is a celebration of courage, community and Caitlin, with all proceeds going to support her in accessing her cancer treatment. Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of food, connection and purpose.
At this event, we will hear from Shaun Christie-David and Caitlin Delaney. Shaun is a passionate advocate for social impact and connection. As the founder of Plate It Forward, he’s dedicated his career to building communities around shared meals and creating opportunities for people experiencing hardship. It’s thanks to Shaun’s generosity that this event can take place — his company is funding the entire lunch so that every dollar from your ticket will go directly to Caitlin’s cancer treatment fund.
Caitlin Delaney is a devoted mother, patient advocate and champion for people living with rare and advanced cancers. She will share her experience navigating life with a rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer, and speak about the inequity rare cancer patients face in accessing life saving treatments, and the urgent need for greater funding, awareness and research into rare cancers - diseases that too often force patients to self-fundraise just to access treatment.
Adding a personal touch to the day, Caitlin’s much-loved husband, Kevin, will be personally preparing a small sample of his native Scottish fare to be part of our feast. To help raise even more vital funds, a special Caitlin Cocktail inspired by the woman herself will also be on offer, along with a raffle featuring wonderful prizes. If you’d like to donate a prize for the raffle, please get in touch with Gwen.
Tickets are $179 each and are strictly limited to just 85 seats - secure yours now and be part of this powerful show of support.
