Blue Dragon Children's Trust NZ Film Fundraiser: Klara and The Sun

The trustees of Blue Dragon Children's Trust NZ warmly invite you to our annual fundraising film. The film we have chosen is KLARA AND THE SUN. Directed by Taika Waititi, the story is based on Kazuo Ishiguro’s accalimed novel.

What it's about:

It follows Klara, an Artificial Friend - chosen by a young girl named Josie to join her family. It's a thoughtful and emotional story exploring love, loneliness, hope and what it means to be human in our AI-driven world. The themes of AI ethics and human relationships make it great viewing for families with teenagers (M rating).

All the money we raise goes to Blue Dragon Children's Foundation in Hanoi, which works to break the poverty cycle for Vietnam's poorest children, including street kids, children with disabilities, and victims of human trafficking and slavery.

Tickets:

$25 a ticket or $30 a ticket, which includes a raffle ticket. As always, there will be at least two raffles with delicious home-made Christmas cakes and other goodies. Please bring plenty of cash on the night to buy extra raffle tickets and increase your chances of being a lucky winner.
