Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal Launch

Kmart New Zealand is proud to launch its 30th annual Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal together with founding charity partner, The Salvation Army, once again calling for support with any gift or monetary contributions in-store and online from Tuesday 21 November 2023.

The theme of this year's Appeal is 'Join us in creating a positive change this Christmas', which encourages the community to come together and, if possible, contribute a new and unwrapped gift under the Wishing Tree at any Kmart and K hub store or make a monetary contribution across in-store or online.

The ongoing support of everyone at this significant time of the year will make an incredible difference to the lives of so many Kiwis who need a helping hand.

For those looking to kick start their own Christmas gifting and celebrate the launch, Kmart will be hosting a free community event at its Kmart Manukau Supa Centre store in Manukau, Auckland on Tuesday November 21.

The space will be open to shoppers all day offering musical entertainment, a gingerbread decorating station, and a 'spin and gift' wheel. Throughout the day, select lucky customers will get the chance to spin the wheel, landing on a designated dollar amount ranging from $25-$250.

The winner will get to fill their trolley to this value in store, with Kmart matching the dollar value in donations to the Wishing Tree Appeal.
