KNOCK softly has been deliberately curated to provide a platform for emerging creators. Designed with purpose, keeping the artists at the forefront. There will be photographers, visual artists, bands, soundscape artists, fashion designers and more...

The intention behind KNOCK softly started as a way to bring the visual arts and music scene together into one event, to highlight amazing talent that Brisbane's creatives have to offer. Recent news of most major festivals and venues closing down has led to a decline in confidence of event managers and participants. We however, wish to push on in the face of adversity to offer a fun, interactive and most of all, affordable night out. 

You might be wondering how we managed to get DJs, live bands, photographers and fashion designers into one event? Simple, we hired the perfect venue to facilitate every medium of art, VENTspace. A venue is notorious for cradling the local art scene in Brisbane, which is why we felt drawn to host here. There will be art and photography hanging on every wall in the venue, with descriptions of the pieces. Live music will be soundtracking the event, to create an immersive atmosphere where you can choose to boogie on the dance floor or listen to passively whilst enjoying art. Our fashion designers will have their clothing racks in a secret room, for those to discover the hidden gems.

The event is in support of a donation charity named Connecting Humanity, where we will be donating all profits to assist Palestinian civilians.
