In the health and injury prevention context, innovation plays a vital role in improving population health outcomes and strengthening the policies and programs that support recovery and prevention.

Join Injury Matters on 25 June 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, for the "Innovating Injury Prevention: A Design Thinking Workshop". This workshop will:

Guide you through the five stages of the Human Centred Design Thinking Model
Work on a challenge statement that is relevant to your own sector
Go through hands‑on activities that build practical, creative problem‑solving skills
Provide structured approaches to move from challenge statements to tangible, early‑stage solutions

Who is this suitable for?

This workshop is suitable for injury prevention and safety promotion practitioners, health promotion officers, and local government workers (community safety, environmental health, community development and community engagement).

**We recommend attending this workshop with a colleague; this way, you can work on a challenge statement that directly relates to your organisation.
