Think gambling is just a bit of fun? Let’s break it down.

Know the Score is a free, interactive workshop run during gambling harm awareness week that helps young people get real about gambling; what it is, how it works, and why it’s not always what it seems. Backed by the latest research, this session is all about giving you the tools to make informed choices.

Through activities, videos, and discussion, we’ll explore:

  • What’s really going on with gambling in Ballarat, Victoria, and across Australia

  • The effects of gambling harm on individuals, families, and communities

  • How to spot the signs of gambling harm early

  • Where to go for help if you or someone you know needs support
