Native Plants on Campus (RMIT Sustainability Week)
Event description
Join us for a native planting workshop at RMIT! Help us regenerate the planter boxes on the east side of the RMIT Alumni Courtyard with local native species. It's a great chance to get hands-on with nature and contribute to this community garden. Don't miss out!
Meet us at the RMIT Alumni Courtyard (357 Russell Street - Enter from Russell Street).
Please note this event that forms' part of RMIT Sustainability Week.
This years theme 'Resilience and Regeneration:Â Creating a Sustainable Tomorrow' highlights the importance of not just sustaining, but regenerating and revitalising our environment, communities, and economies for a resilient future.
RMIT Sustainability Week for 2024 endeavours to explore themes of resilience and regeneration. A regenerative future is one that creates the conditions for all life to thrive, generating self-sustaining positive outcomes for nature, people and the economy.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Please remember to wear closed toe footwear, a hat and bring a water bottle.Â
We will provide gloves :)
