'The Recovery Poetry Workshop is a masterclass in writing poetry that reflects your internal world. Learn writing techniques are also helpful coping strategies, giving yourself space to explore your mind, ground yourself and support your mental well-being.'

Biography: Mohammad Awad (AKA 3AWADI) is a Queer/Arab/Muslim award-winning Writer, Director, Poet, Playwright, and Musician who’s running out of ways to express himself. Honoured as Australia's National Youth Poetry Champion, they are one of the proud editors/authors of the award-winning poetry collection Admissions. A development/showcase of Mohammad’s play Harami debuted at Sydney Theatre Company. Mohammad’s latest film Bikes premiered at the Sydney Opera House, with their upcoming film Inheritance winning the national QueerScreen 2024 Pitch-Off, and their first feature Rearranged in development with Invention Studios.

A NSW State finalist in the Australian Poetry Slam, Mohammad has also been honoured as Australia's National Youth Poetry Champion. They have featured in the Sydney Writers' Festival, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Mardi Gras and World Pride, the Art Gallery of NSW, The ICC, The Iconic West Ball, Big Thick Energy, Sydney Living Museums - After Dark, Out for Australia's 30 Under 30, The Vanguard, and Giant Dwarf Theatre. Mohammad has also been featured on ABC’s hit TV show Space 22, The Drum, and SBS.
