    Event description

Join us for an engaging evening of networking with the next generation of STEM leaders!

KOALA 2023, in partnership with the ANU Research School of Physics, will host an industry networking event for STEM research students and early career researchers at the ANU.

Jointly affiliated with both Optica and SPIE, KOALA Student Conference is a non-profit student-only conference held annually in Australia and New Zealand. Every year it attracts around 100 research students from the fields of Optics, Photonics, Laser applications as well as Quantum and Atomic science. For the first time in 2023 it is being hosted at the Research School of Physics in Canberra.

To broaden the positive impact for both industry and the ANU research community KOALA has joined forces with the Research School of Physics to present a networking event open to KOALA attendees as well as all research students and early-career researchers from the College of Science and College of Engineering.
