You've built your speak-up culture. You've raised awareness. People feel safe to report suspected safeguarding, fraud and other misconduct. But now you're drowning in cases. What next?

It's an honourable problem to have, but a real one - aid organisations that invest in speak-up cultures, hotlines and awareness raising often see rising reporting rates. How do you ensure each case is dealt with effectively, efficiently and proportionately when your resources are limited?

About the Masterclass

In this online masterclass, specialists Oli May and Roland Hassel will explore how to build reliable, consistent processes and make risk-based, proportionate and defensible decisions.

What we'll cover

We'll explore practical ways to address the key challenges of managing integrity incident caseloads across alleged safeguarding, fraud and corruption breaches, including:

Triaging cases with evidence-led proportionality
Creating workable roles, structures and processes
Protecting people at a system level
Engaging with back donors and regulators
Management information and self-evaluating of your framework
Building investment cases for better resourcing.

Who it's for

All types of international humanitarian and development organisations can benefit from the Masterclass, whether you're from an NGO, aid contractor, donor agency, government body or other.

You do not need to be an investigator - this Masterclass is about managing cases and the systems around them. People who might benefit include directors, heads or managers from:

Safeguarding, fraud, integrity or ethics teams
