Koala Corridor Planting Morning - Canyonleigh
Event description
Landcare is working with the Southern Highlands Koala Conservation Project to reconnect areas of valuable Koala habitat at Canyonleigh. We have been working at this site for sometime and this planting day builds on our previous efforts. The day will start at 9 am on Saturday 30th November and finish up before lunch. This time we will need to dig the holes for the plants but there are only 120 to go in. Morning tea is provided. There will be a port-aloo on site but you will need to bring drinking water. The property is accessible by 2WD vehicles including sedans. Please come dressed appropriately, with gardening gloves and sun protection. We will provide instructions and have some tools available, but it would be helpful if you bring your favourite planting tools. Participants need to register for catering purposes. Please bring a mug if you can.
PLEASE NOTE Water has to be boiled at this property before it can be drank so it is recommended that you bring a full water bottle. There will be limited drinking water available.
