Please join us on Sunday 24th July for a Koala Project Talk and Walk at the Crommelin Native Arboretum at Pearl Beach and hear about the exciting work being done to help koala conservation efforts right here on the NSW Central Coast.

The Arboretum is working with Central Coast, University of Sydney, National Parks and other government bodies investigating whether Brisbane Water National Park is a promising home for existing and translocated Koalas, with hope to establish future Central Coast colonies. You’ll hear a bit about the history of koalas in this region and take a walk through the wildlife corridor to view the koala song meter, koala drinking station and 30 species of eucalyptus trees that have been planted.

Your ticket price will include morning tea and annual membership to the Arboretum.

The Arboretum is located at 69 Crystal Ave Pearl Beach. Please consider car pooling with others. It would be advisable to park at the tennis courts where there is more parking. (at the end of Opal Cl) and walk through the Arboretum to the cottage.
