Chris Allen: a quick intro to Koalas in Our Backyard
Louise Hatton: sharing results of the recent genetic and disease study of koalas in the Mumbulla and Murrah Flora Reserves.
Carolyn Hogg: what we know about koala genetics and how this may assist koala conservation on the far south coast.
BREAK FOR MORNING TEA
Koorin Campbell: from Living Knowledge Network, talking about cultural burning and the role of traditional fire in koala habitat conservation.
Roger Park: results from audio monitoring surveys, and addressing how landholders can help reduce the risk of fire in the koala landscape.
Dean Turner - author of Firewise Landscapes, addressing what to plant where to reduce the flammability of the landscape.
