At Gro Urban Oasis we are fascinated by Kokedamas. Translated Kokedama means “moss ball”. The art of binding plants into mossy orbs dates back centuries to the Edo Era in Japan. These mystical moss balls that contain live growing plants, add opulence and simplicity to any home.

Join GRO staff to learn the art of Kokedama. In this all-inclusive class you will create your own mini Kokedama from a plant of your choosing to take home and learn best practices for care and upkeep to ensure your moss ball stays looking beautiful for years to come.

Please just bring your wonderful selves as all supplies and equipment are provided. You are more than welcome to bring your own gloves to our workshops. The workshop will run for about 45 minutes.
